About ZZ Top
ZZ Top members are guitarist Billy Gibbons, bass player Dusty Hill and drummer Frank Beard, with the former two also sharing the lead vocalist role. The three are the original ZZ Top members who formed the band in 1969. Jimi Hendrix and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have acknowledged Gibbons' guitar playing as one of the best in blues and rock idioms.
