Magnetic Fields included such well-known musicians as Chris Knox, and Robert Scott (the Bats), Manning, Dean Wareham (Luna), Lou Barlow, Georgia Hubley (Yo La Tengo) who performed with the band in different periods. The band is known for such releases as 69 Love Songs (1999), a collection of songs that begin with the aforementioned vowel (2004).
