About The Byrds
In 1968 Roger McGuinn and Chris Hillman recruited such musicians as Gram Parsons (guitarist and singer) and Kevin Kelly (drummer), and the same year Byrds recorded and released its fifth full-length album entitled Sweetheart of the Rodeo. The record had good press, but some fans said that it wasn't the traditional Byrds' album.
