About Supertramp
Breakfast in America, Supertramps' 1979 hit album, was nowhere near the place the band started from ten years earlier. In 1969, Supertramp was formed as a wholly funded project that some young Dutch millionaire decided to support. When the funding expired and the band was fan-less, Supertramp moved from the progressive rock of their early albums to more pop-oriented music, with their sixth album (Breakfast0 selling 18 million copies worldwide.
