About Sufjan Stevens
Sufjan Stevens is a folk musician and a conceptual artist. One of his ideas is to record an album for each of the 50 states, so far releasing Michigan and Illinois, in 2003 and 2005 respectively. The project started as an expression of love to his home state, including odes to large cities and smaller vacation areas, but turned out to a greater project on which Sufjan Stevens is on his way to completing.
