About Stephen Stills
American guitarist and singer-songwriter Stephen Stills has been a member of several groups before Buffalo Springfield, but it was certainly his arrival in California that he is best known for. After the band broke up, Stephen Stills quickly formed Crosby, Stills and Nash, which still allowed band members to pursue solo careers, which Stills did in 1971, with the self-titled album that included contributions by Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton.
