About Pentangle
Pentangle was formed in 1967 when both guitarists John Renbourn and Bert Jansch met first and even recorded an album, Bert and John, a folk baroque style recording with virtuoso guitar playing and an acoustic sound. The joining of three additional members, a female vocalist, bass player and drummer would help form the rich folk rock sound of Pentangle.
