Oasis shot from being unknown to becoming the most popular and most critically acclaimed British band of their times. Like Pulp and pothers, they were responsible for bringing the first places on the pop charts back to British soil. Oasis was led by the two Gallagher brothers, Neol and Liam, and like many musical duos, their partnership would be responsible for the fame of Oasis, and the cause of it's downfall.
