Blues great Muddy Waters has contributed not only to the post-war blues scene in Chicago, but to the world of music at large. It was Muddy Waters who helped Chuck Berry get a recording contract, a Muddy Waters song that the Rolling Stones named themselves after and his songs were treated by Jimi Hendrix, Cream and Led Zeppelin, among others.
