About Mogwai
One of the most influential bands in the post-rock scene, Mogwai has been around since 1995, the year they were founded in Glasgow by Stuart Braithwaite and Dominic Aitchison. Joy Division and The Jesus and Mary Chain are among the influences over Mogwai, who furthermore identify with the punk ethic, even though they sound more art rock than punk, often going all the way instrumental.
