About Maximo Park
While many bands of the 00s have gone the post-punk direction, Maximo Park have responded by forming in 2000 and making an indie rock style music that is more Pulp and Smiths influenced than the punks. Maximo Park even started off in an indie manner, with a friend printing 300 copies of an early 7" vinyl single Graffiti, later to be released as a standard single and reach the Top 20 on the charts.
