Lloyd Banks is a street rapper. He started his career rhyming on the streets, collaborating with friends (50 Cent among them) and releasing mixtapes. G-Unit, the hip hop producing group he formed with his buddies, continued the practice of street marketing. Lloyd Banks, like 50 Cent moved into the mainstream in 2003, first appearing on 50 cent's album Get Rich or Die Tryin' and then in 2004 with the release of his own The Hunger for More.
