About Hoobastank
Hoobastank trace their origin back to a battle of the bands in high school. This was in a suburb of Los Angeles in 1994, which explains a few elements in the sound of Hoobastank. On the one hand the influences of the alternative bands that ruled the scene at the time - Tool and Alice in Chains, and on the other hand some suburban Californian groove.
