About Happy Mondays
Dance club and rock and roll crossed paths in Manchester in the late 80s, much due to the Happy Mondays and the Stone Roses. It was the Happy Mondays more than any other that has immersed itself deepest in rave and dance culture and music. Where other bands settled with 60s psychedelia and 70s soul, the Happy Mondays added a great deal of drug infused house rhythms.
