About Foo Fighters
Dave Grohl knew better than to offer his own songs to the band when he was drummer for Nirvana. There was no concern of interrupting any chemistry after Cobain's death and the disbanding of Nirvana, and so Grohl founded the Foo Fighters, a post grunge band that could play his own material. The Foo Fighters proved to be a successful act, compared with almost any band, reaching platinum status with every one of its albums released.
