Calling themselves the Cowboy Junkies because the name sounded right, so has the band's music sounded right to many of its fans over the past 20 some years. Formed in Toronto in 1985, with a light avant garde touch and the dreamy vocals of Margo Timmins, the Cowboy Junkies have recorded a masterpiece album in the Trinity Session and contributed a memorable song to the Natural Born Killers soundtrack in 1994.
