About Clannad
Clannad is a very famous musical group from Gweedore, Ireland. The band's musical style can be described as a combination of Celtic, folk and pop rock. The first of a series of turning points for Clannad came when they entered into a local Folk Festival in Letterkenny, County Donegal, and won first prize, a record contract with the Irish arm of Phillips.
