About Charlie Haden
Charlie Haden is a popular hard bop, free jazz and mainstream jazz musician and double bassist that originally comes from Shenandoah, Iowa. Charlie Haden became famous playing with Ornette Coleman in the late 1950's, culminating with "The Shape of Jazz to Come". This album was released to a lot of controversy at the time, and Haden himself remarked that the harmolodic style of playing was very confusing.
