Carcass is a legendary band from Liverpool, England that mainly plays goregrind and melodic death metal. After the release of their album "Heartwork", Carcass received a worldwide deal with Columbia Records, who hoped for a commercial success, even suggesting that Jeff Walker learn how to sing. Fan reaction was split between the charges that Carcass was no longer playing death metal.
