Each one of the influences claimed by Can is a world unto its own, and so it explains the eclectic sound that this German band has recorded over its years of playing together in the late 60s and 70s. Karlheinz Stockhausen on the one hand and Frank Zappa on the other, Can members were classically trained and madly experimental at the same time.
