It is often said that Bill Haley is the forgotten son of rock and roll. But this might not be entirely correct. Bill Haley has had several biographies written about him, had his character represented in movies, namely period films of the era, and was even inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987, six years after his death.
